These classes include all the drums, music, and rhythms to be taught. Hand drumming is best experienced as a group so remember to bring a friend.

Drum Set Tuition
Did you know the drum set is about 120 years old? This relatively young instrument is found in all styles of music acting as a timekeeper and drumbeat provider. Learning the drum set allows students to connect directly with the music they enjoy the most in a meaning full way.
Scott covers the basics of hand technique, footwork, music theory, and drum beats, as well as more advanced topics such as old-time signatures and polyrhythms. One of the learning outcomes of studying the drum set with Scott is you will be able to learn and play the songs you chose.
